Such neat and simple design at a reasonable price, it’s the best solution for hobbyist video recording, as of Jan 2025. The sound quality is good enough and the noise cancelling feature is rarely needed when the mic is placed appropriately. No issue with battery life.
This is nit picking but I wish it had finer gain control but understand the cost issue. A control dial or a slider would make this product unbeatable.

I do a lot of public speaking and I always have someone recording me with my personal phone for later uploads to social media. Until now my audio sucked and other mics that own eg. DJI are too obvious. This mic does it all for me, noise cancellation which cuts out the congregation’s noise and focuses on mine is amazing. Overall the miniature size and being able to discreetly use it on both, my phone and professional camera makes my content creation consistent.
I will highly recommend this mic for anyone who is serious with their sound.

3 years back i bought boya m1 wired for recordings.now wanna upgarde to new mic ..i thought of going wireless mic as previouse mic wired fills space all over the desk. so i was watigin for new version of hollyland and it released the m2s..i connected with my dlsr(cannon m50), DJI action3 and macbook pro(aux and typec) all are working fine..it s wonderful to use..1 week of usage..after 2 months usage i may add another review alsso.

I just received the Hollyland Lark M2s, and my first impressions are quite positive. The overall design and features seem well thought out, and it looks like a good choice for creators.
Pros – The Hollyland Lark M2s looks clean and neat, and it’s smaller and lighter than most other mics, making it easy to carry around. The sound quality is really good, with clear audio, and the noise cancellation works well. The transmitters and receivers are compact & It’s also very easy to use, just plug it in and start recording right away.
Cons – It’s a bit disappointing that they didn’t include the Compact Lightning receiver for older Iphones. As an iPhone 14 user, I have to use the usb-c to lightning cable, which feels inconvenient. They have included compact one for Type C phones but not for Lightning port iphones. Other than that, I didn’t feel any other cons till now.
Final Thoughts:
Based on the first look, the Hollyland Lark M2s seems like a great value for the price, offering good sound quality and features. However, the lack of a Lightning receiver is a drawback for old iPhone users. It’s a promising option for budget-friendly wireless audio, and I’m looking forward to testing it further.
